In 1910 Mr George Adams opened a butcher’s shop in The Crescent, Spalding, with an initial capital of £10, serving the people of the town with quality meats and handmade pork pies. The introduction of a pork pie postal service in 1923 enabled the business to expand and gain considerable renown outside of Lincolnshire.
