Any idea when this was taken? My Grandfather and all his Brothers and sisters were born there between 1887 and 1910 ish
I think the date for this picture is 1889

My Great Grand Aunt and her husband Benjamin Bowser were the Inn keepers as follows:
30 Mar 1851 – British Census – Axe & Hand Saw Inn, Silver Street, Moulton, Lincolnshire, England
H.O. 107/2096
Benjamin Bowser, Head, Married, 37, 1814, Innkeeper, Boston, Lincolnshire
HANNAH BOWSER, Wife, Married, 31, 1820, Innkeepers Wife, Surfleet, Lincolnshire
1856 – White’s Directory of Lincolnshire, England – Moulton Inns and Taverns
Axe & Hand Saw Inn – Benj. Bowser
Could you please tell me what it says on the front of the building in the photo.
I can only read what is visible on the photo. Don’t have another view sorry. Regards Geoff
