Remembrance Day Parade, New Road, Spalding around 1955

This photo shows the Remembrance Day Parade going past Chesters the Grocers in New Road, Spalding. The Parade was making its way down to the War Memorial in Ayscoughfee Gardens.  The Scout seen in the rear is a young Keith Seaton and the Middle fireman in the front row is Bert Fisher.

Note addition to post – Fireman at the rear is Jack Meace who lived at Chestnut ave,Info from his daughter Sandra Whitaker nee Meace.

  1. Middle fireman in the front row Bert Fisher, his widow still lives across the road from me the scout in the parade just behind them.
