My uncle a serving Raf rear gunner married the landlady from the Salutation arms As a mere little todger i remember being given sips of ale by patrons and the farmer next door giving me a ride on his magnificant clysdale
as i remember the pub was on the right coming down from the bridge i have a faded picture of myself and plder brother standing in front of the pub i know long shot but anyone have knowledge re pub i am in my 80s so fingers crossed cheers from oz
